MOST BEAUTIFUL LOCATIONS IN A TWO HOURS WALK!

City Center

WHERE PEOPLE GET FUN

Tapas bars, terraces, charming squares, buildings full of history, lots of shopping, the market … everything you could need to live is a minute’s walk away, fun included. It is an ideal neighborhood to do a lot of urban portraits full of light and color.

The Cathedral

A SPANISH RENAISSANCE GEM

Apart from the Alhambra, this is the most emblematic building in Granada. The texture of the eroded stone, the wrought iron with it’s hammer marks, huge cobblestones, the renaissance style emerging from the baroque, the light surrounding its sculpted walls… only you are missing to get a great photo!

Albaicín

THE WHOLE STORY STARTS HERE

A neighborhood where every corner can tells stories of love and blood, with countless and picturesque squares, fountains, viewpoints and narrow cobbled streets with the Alhambra in the background. It dates from the 7th century and was the first settlement in the city.

Deep Albaicín

PEOPLE DON’T KNOW HOW TO GET IN HERE

This area crosses the labyrinthine heart of the old Alcazaba Cadima, an irregular nest of narrow and white streets designed successfully, with the intention of hindering the orientation of the invader to better defend the city. A walk that connects numerous hidden spots and unknown viewpoints out of the touristic way.

Sacromonte

GYPSY CULTURE, CAVES & PRICKLY PEARS

The Sacromonte area is located on a hill in front of the Alhambra, and is full of ancient caves inhabited until our time. This is the cradle of flamenco and gypsy culture and every night, we can listen the music of the singers with their guitars and the bailaora heel-tapping energetically on the wooden tablao inside the cave.

San Miguel Alto

THE HIGHEST VIEWPOINT OF THE GRANADA

Outside the urbanized space of the city and after a little walk around the Sacromonte caves, we will arrive at San Miguel Alto, a hermitage next to the defensive wall built in the 12th century. From here, we can see the best panoramic views of Granada and enjoy a unique sunset.

Wild Sacromonte

OUT OF THE TOURIST AREA

Legend has it that in this ravine away from the bustle of the city, it was where the Arab nobles buried their wealth before to be sent into exile, hoping to return one day to recover it. For many years its slopes have been dug unsuccessfully in search of those valuable treasures, giving rise to the first caves inhabited to date.

La Alpujarra

PAMPANEIRA

*One hour far from Granada

NEW LOCATION UNDER REQUEST

Pampaneira is the most beautiful town in the Alpujarra of Granada, in the natural park of Sierra Nevada. A place full of magic, remarkable due to its Arab-Berber architecture with very characteristic elements like the Tinaos, labyrinthine public corridors in the street, covered by the wooden structure of a terrace or a private building to provide shelter from the rain and snow. Also remarkable the horizontal roofs with its long chimneys mushroom-shaped.

It’s one of the highest towns in Europe and probably one of the most beautiful with its white walls and plants in every corner. Ideal not only for a photo walk but also for a little photo hike around the valley of Poqueira.
